The European Combustion Meeting provides the
opportunity for scientists and engineers to submit contributions
on all aspects of combustion science and technology. This will
be the fifth in a series of biennial Meetings sponsored by the
British section of the Combustion Institute, with offerings welcome
from any area of combustion science. This can range from fundamental
physical and chemical kinetics, laminar and turbulent flames,
burner design and operation, combustion diagnostics, fuel variation,
gasification, and pyrolysis to give just a few examples. The technical
program of the meeting will follow the format established at previous
events, and will consist of invited lectures and topical reviews
to coincide with parallel sessions established for the presentation
of posters, with all forums intended to motivate intellectual
discussion.
